does anyone ever use the terms yuu, ryou, kaa? apparently an old japanese system, where 80-100 was yuu, 70-80 ryou and 60-70 kaa. I also read somewhere that japanese teachers give better grades to students they like. Imagine that!
Peter,
You are amazing! We had dinner last night at the Wassons. Kate Wasson is taking a 5 credit Japanese course in preparation for her trip in March. She says it is very hard, and leaves her little time for anything else.
Think of how far you have come from your first day in Japanese class at Portland State University.
love you, mom
hahaha! awesome

you aren't famous!
Oh my god...that's absolutely freaking awesome! Having gone to JP high school myself, I sort of understand how hard you must have worked for that, especially at your school....
Geez...
Congratulations! ^_^
