I got a new computer today.

I don't get to read your posts too often, but it's always fun when I do to track them back trying to figure out where you are right now and where you'll be next week!
So you'll be back in Japan - have fun! Thanks for thinking out loud on the computer - believe it or not, I could relate to so much of your angst. Here I am, in a beautiful new state, close to family, feeling like I'll never get my house set up! But I found a recycling center in Birmingham, about an hour away, and will start ferrying the empty boxes there tomorrow.
I was frozen in indecision about which washer & dryer to buy, what to do about cutting the lawn, which electrician to hire, what to have them do when I did decide, but gave myself time to be undecided. Suddenly it became clear for each decision, but it was very unpleasant for a while.
Anyway, just wanted you to know that I do read your posts. Take care and enjoy your trip back.
